The other weekend I photographed the Hancock family at Balboa Park. I love shooting there, especially when I get to photograph a great family! We were able to get some fantastic shots of everyone — even their two dogs — and I’m really excited about some of the family shots (but too bad, Hancocks, you’ll have to wait ’till your preview session to see them all)! :)
Here’s just a little sneak peek… tell me what you think!
Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet and photograph Jelly, a very sweet, beautiful, friendly, and outgoing black lab. She was a great model, doing everything I asked (well, she was being rewarded with many, many cookies)! We photographed Jelly on her back porch, her favorite black leather chair, on her mom and dad’s bed, and down at the beach. She was so happy to chase her tennis ball through the waves and dig holes in the sand. Here’s a little sneak peek at her session…

WOW WOW WOW! The calendar that I designed for Freedom is Not Free was just featured on the TODAY show in honor of Veteran’s Day! It was so awesome to see art that I worked on being featured on a national television show! I helped choose the final photos for the calendar, designed the layout, and did touch-up work on the photos including removing all tattoos except one.
If you’re interested in purchasing a calendar, you can get one on the FINF online store.
Every once in a while, I think it’s fun to share something a little personal on this blog; I do have a life outside of my business, you know! Well, for the past two weeks, I have been in New York visiting with my family. The weekend after I arrived, my Nana taught us how to make her famous pot roast. We decided to capture it on video. We’re a little nutty, so be prepared to laugh. Tell me what your favorite part is!
