This weekend, I made a trip up to the California Wolf Center in Julian, CA and I must say, it was AMAZING. I went to see a presentation by Monty Sloan, a well-known wolf photographer. As a bonus, the group also got to tour two of the wolf enclosures, one with Mexican Gray Wolves and one with Alaskan Gray Wolves. They are such majestic creatures. I was truly in awe.

The center held a raffle and I just HAD to have one of the prizes. Luck was all mine that day and I won a Photo Tour. I get to make an appointment to go back and go inside the wolf enclosure—yes, I said inside the wolf enclosure—for two hours and photograph the animals. “Excited” does not even begin to describe how I feel.
