Meet Katie Jo! She will be 6 months old in just a few days. She is just the cutest little girl with the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. Her cheeks are quite pinchable, which I just adore! :)

(Katie Jo let us know that she was all done for the day.)
I was recently hired by the Village Tart—a café and bakery in New York City—to create three signs to hang in window boxes outside the restaurant. The requested style was very specific and I was very excited to make their vision a reality. I wish Village Tart the best of luck with completing the café and a very successful opening! This past week I photographed a few new art pieces for an amazing artist, Jean Wells. All of these pieces will be displayed at the Los Angels Art Show from January 20-24, 2010. For more of Jean’s art, you can visit http://www.wellsart.com.

Last night, I was asked to photograph a 70th birthday party for a woman named Carol. After just a short while there, it was apparent how loved Carol is. She had family and friends come from all across the country to celebrate with her. It was truly an honor to be there to capture the special moments of her party. Below are some of my favorites…
The beautiful cake

Watching the heart-warming video about Carol’s life (I even got teary-eyed)

Watching the video

A hug for Carol

Laughs with Carol’s mom

Carol and her children

Time for dancin’ and jumpin’!

Time for a conga line!

Carol and her friends

A great idea: places for friends and family to write notes about all the reasons they love Carol

Today I got to have a portrait session with Maya. She has the most beautiful face! Here are some favorite shots…
