Building a photo of… a building!
This past week I was given a challenge: create an image of a building that can be printed 9 feet wide by 6 feet tall. At the printer’s print resolution, that equates to needing 43 megapixels… a far cry from my D700’s 12.1. After much research and testing to figure out the best way to do it, I came to the conclusion that I would have to take multiple photos and stitch them together in Photoshop. The final image is made up of 34 smaller images.
See it below…
Splish-splash, Katie Jo was takin’ a bath!
While visiting with Katie Jo and her family again this weekend, bath time came around, so I decided to get out the camera and take a few shots. She is one of the happiest babies I have ever met. It’s pretty easy to get a smile out of her, especially when her Aunt Darla plays peek-a-boo. Bath time was certainly splash-tastic.
Portraits with Katie Jo
Meet Katie Jo! She will be 6 months old in just a few days. She is just the cutest little girl with the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. Her cheeks are quite pinchable, which I just adore! :)
(Katie Jo let us know that she was all done for the day.)
The Village Tart
I was recently hired by the Village Tart—a café and bakery in New York City—to create three signs to hang in window boxes outside the restaurant. The requested style was very specific and I was very excited to make their vision a reality. I wish Village Tart the best of luck with completing the café and a very successful opening!
